The module is designed to provide isolation of
standard range currents and/or voltages, namely, 0 to 20mA, 4 to 20mA and 0 to 10V. It includes a
24V DC power supply to power the two-wire measuring converter via input line and an isolated
amplifier with standard trimmer-adjusted ranges. It is well suited for installation in switchboards
into which mains voltage is supplied. It employs a toroid transformer power supply to power its own
circuits. An optocoupler is used to isolate the electric quantity measured. The maximum output current
is limited by means of an electronic cut-out circuit. Both the input and the output circuit of the
converter are overload-protected. The input and output range may be selected by the user during the
installation by means of terminal jumpers. Terminals 9 and 10 are to be interconnected to select the
0 to 10V output range. |
